The Shade of Whiteness - A Poem Dedicated To Cape Town Pride 2015

Underneath The Shade of Whiteness grows opportunities for the other colours of the rainbow to tell their their story.
To stand up and be seen for who we all are.
Yes we have been given Carte Blanche to draw, spray paint and even splatter shades of brown knowing the consequences are we are now able to express ourselves for who we are and whatever we want to be.
The Shade is temporary it moves and reveals the sun if you are willing to step into it.
 Pantsi Komthunzi weLanga!
I will bask in the sun because since 1994 we have been given full and all rights as citizens to stand and be counted,
to roll up our sleeves and work for the emancipation we have cried tears and shed blood.
I am unwilling to sit in the Shade of it all but choose to blaze a trail that must be infectious!
 ZABALAZA VUKUZENZELE!

Thank you Cape Town for heeding this call to arms we truelly represented " The Rainbow Nation of God" on 28 February 2015.
Now we can see where we need to improve and change. We now know we have the support. Therefore the production value must seriously raise the bar. This will require courageous, fierce, imaginative and dedicated volunteers.
ITS YOUR CIVIL DUTY TO HELP ORGANISE EVENTS OF CAPE TOWN PRIDE!!!
