The common denominator between Tiger Woods and Lance Armstrong: JUST DO IT

Kodwa seriously all Tiger did was cheat on HIS WIFE not GOLF not THE WORLD OF SPORT or THOUSANDS of Buffoons who gave millions of their hard earned cash to wear Yellow Rubber bands to a guy who took a short cut to success.

And if one compares Acts of Contrition, Tiger got knobkirried by his Wife, Crashed His Car, Apologised in a Press Conference and even shared a couple of tears. All this for putting his Tiger in many Woods. Even Bill Clinton got Nelson Mandela's sympathy for doing kind of the same thing. But the media Furore was at best over the top disdainful and critical.

Its no wonder Lance Armstrong has had a walk in the park in comparison. By the time his treachery was revealed they'd run out of steam. Expended on the extra-mural and extramarital activities of a SPORTSMAN (like is the Pope Catholic?)

Many Black people behind closed doors have been hear to say,

"You can screw a white man out of his money and be a CLEVER, but you shag his sisters and daughters bazoku bonisa umkhonto"

I have been surprised by the large sympathetic support for Lance Armstrong. If my memory serves me well Ben Johnson the infamous 100m CHEAT of the Seoul Olympics 1988 simply go none of that. Yet last week he crawled out of purgatory to say this:

"America will find it in their hearts to forgive him"

REALLY!?

Those two lip-synching buffoons from Milli Vanilli still can't show their faces in public, but Lance Armstrong picks up the phone and calls Oprah.

Oprah's OWN network has been struggling to get viewers in the U.S. The network averages not even 300 000 viewers and peaks at 2.6 million only when Oprah's Next Chapter airs. But Lance Armstrong still asked her for his "No holds Barred" interview. WHY?

1. CBS's 60min was gagging to tear him apart after years of investigating him

2. ABC"s Nightline was equally going to go for the jugular

3. Discovery Channel owns Oprah's OWN channel and sponsored Lance Armstrong's Tour De France teams for many years and his LIVE STRONG charity foundation to the tune of millions of dollars. Lance figured he might as well return the favour and rescue Discovery's ailing new project and save himself another lawsuit by giving back in kind.

4. Oprah Winfrey's audience mostly white middle aged women (35 - 60 odd) were much more likely to give the "handsome" Armstrong that sympathy vote he was cynically searching for.

5. Oprah was never gonna make the same mistakes she did by being aggressive as she  grilled the lying author of A Million Little Pieces, and avoiding another backlash.

So the stage was set for Lance Armstrong to again cheat public opinion.

Only problem is that Lance Armstrong is an egotistical psychopath similar to murderous Serial Killers.  He just showed he was pissed off he got caught. He still believes his doping scheme was flawless. But like every serial killer that finally gets caught, he just couldn't help going back to the scene of his best laid plans to thumb his finger at the world and the authorities.

In his own words he tells Oprah,

"Yes, If I had not done the Tour D'France in 2009 I would not have been sitting here right now, this would not be happening"

Throughout the interview the man was at pains to point out how "Smart" the whole doping system he fronted and received all benefits from. He corrects Oprah several times during the interview showing off his lascivious antisocial behaviours and thinking patterns which he also justifies.

Lance Armstrong had an answer and a reasoning’s for every action, reaction and thoughts that destroyed lives and cheated hundreds of millions of people, businesses and charities around the world.

Sitting there as he did displaying no emotion accept anger and indignation I was reminded of a certain monster in South African politics, GodZILLE.

Helen Zille has been campaigning to acquire the votes of the Black majority but never refuses to apologise or admit when her words and actions at times anger and upset the very Black majority she so covets.

The common denominator between President Jacob Zuma and Premier Helen Zille:  Foot In Mouth Disease

The only difference is President Jacob Zuma is guaranteed the popular vote will bring him back to The Presidency. Zuma has that knack of behaving like a real Patriarchal Zulu Chief/Nobleman when ever he is in Kwa-Zulu Natal forgetting that as president he speaks for ALL South Africa ALL the time and EVERYWHERE. The sad thing is his rhetoric is often in common with popular opinion even when the principals are not always in line with our Constitution or our political values.

Zille has vehemently denied that Cape Town has a race relations problem where blacks, especially South African black people are made to feel unwelcome if not totally castigated. This attitude persists even after several top black Capetonians have expressed and shown experience of racism or should I say racial profiling.

Just two years ago Zille called Eastern Cape black children coming to the Western Cape "Refugees". For months she refused to recant the statement. The very black middle class that is her most likely new constituency had to throw a complete hissy fit on Social media and even then she wouldn't apologise. Only when DA advisors and colleagues pointed out that she was losing them votes did she come to her senses.

Most recently she refused at the 11th hour to participate in the New Age Breakfast Business Briefings because she said there was a corrupt relationship between the parastatals that sponsored them. Clearly The City Press, which carried her allegation as the front page headline, and the DA have the same political agenda.

GodZILLE even during an interview on 702 with Redi Thlabi, again, could not bring herself to admit she had erred. Clearly, her party's media smear campaign against the only national newspaper that is not owned by DA supporters or punts its anti-government and anti- ANC agenda, was ill judged and defamatory.

Like Lance Armstrong, Helen Zille stuck to her guns attempting to spin, deflect and reason her way out of hubris, and failing.

The thing is knowing the nature of Sportsmen I was none too surprised that Tiger Woods cheated multiple times on his wife. Its common knowledge that sportsmen occasionally do. But as a golf player Tiger Woods remains a legend. His professional career is sterling.

Lance Armstrong is just a complete disgrace. The picture he posted on Twitter of him admiring his 7 yellow jerseys after they had officially been rescinded, speaks volumes about what he thinks of us all..."CHUMPS I stole them fair and square"

In the end there is "a culture of doping in cycling" Lance Armstrong was just the best at it. Well CongratuFUCKINGlations.

The mainstream newspapers of Independent Newspapers, Media24, Mail&Guardian and Times Media clearly favour the DA, their advertisers, and their shareholders. DA believes in Freedom of the Press for only those who follow its political agenda. DA proves to be no different than the ruling party: "Do as we say not as we Do"
